Pros: This application creates barcode labels. You can produce any size barcode in any of a series of standards that are supported by the label creator. Barcode strings can be at random within a range or a series of labels in sequence. Font file supported are code11, code 39, code 93, code 128 (SET A, B, C), Codabar, Msi Plessey, Interleaved 2of5, Planet, Postnet etc. If you need to edit the labels that’s possible too, color, size, alignment are some of the things that can be changes easily. Barcodes for many a use are created in this application such as asset tag, price sticker, inventory label or a ribbon of each and every keyboard character such as lower or upper case alphabets (a-z and A-Z), numbers (0-9) and special character like @, &, $, # etc. Created barcodes are saved at a default location or a user specified location as an image. The image formats supported are jpeg, jpg and bmp. Barcodes generated within the program are readable by industry standard readers are used in finance, insurance, accounting, logistics, manufactures, transportation, retail industries. Software support all windows based operating system including Vista with any laptop or desktop computer. Easily runs with Windows 98, 2000, 2003 server, NT, ME, XP professional and Vista.
The user interface is wizard like and hence straightforward. Specify the string to be created, alignment such as centre justified, left/right justified, default or user chosen location for saving the images, whether random sequence or a sequential series labels are to created, in case of sequential series the start and end points are specified. Beyond that everything’s automatic.
Cons: Nothing problematic noticed here.
