This handy add-in quickly looks up and copies matching data from one Excel table to another. Two tables can be located in the same or two different Excel files. You can use one or several columns as matching criteria. Works for Excel 2007 - 2000.

Pros: The plug-in merges with the excel controls very well. Choosing the range of rows or columns or other controls works as with the main Excel sheet.

The controls related to the plug-in appear as an additional button on the tool bar of Excel. First step is to select the master table or the table where the second table is to be merged through the wizard that appears. The second table could be in the same sheet or even a different one. The range of rows/columns are chosen the same way one would have picked these data ranges while creating a chart from the Excel data table. Several rows or columns can be used as the matching criteria.

Changed data can be highlighted with color to facilitate error checking or highlight important changes. Update/ non updated columns can be filtered for rapid viewing.

Cons: Nothing adverse was noticed, just works as expected.

Overall: Adds very limited functionality but works well. So deserves a 5 star rating.
