This is a more powerful version of Repair Shop Calendar, with all of the features of the standard version, but with the additional capability to share data in real time over the network. Repair Shop Calendar is a calendar for repair shops, dealing with cars, bikes, bicycles, home equipment, cloths and shoes. It's perfect for repair technicians to plan their working hours so that the orders do not overlap, keep track of scheduled appointments and what service bay technicians will be using. It'll store the information about the clients, such as their address, telephone, email and comments about a done repair job or a problem.
There are two viewing modes in the program: calendar with a vertical and horizontal timeline and a table view to help you get the general overview of the jobs. It's possible to create reminders to alert technicians about the things they should do. Available is an automatic search and auto-field filling for a client, who has already been entered to the database. You can view the information about payments, daily income for any day at any moment when you need it. For those people, who work in Microsoft Outlook, it's possible to synch data. Export of data is available to different formats: XLS, TXT, HTML, XML for its adaptation for other programs. In case of crashes or virus attacks, there is an auto backup function with a possibility to remove old archives automatically.

It`s perfect for repair technicians to plan their working hours so that the orders do not overlap, keep track of scheduled appointments and what service bay technicians will be using.
Pros: This application builds on top of an existing product from the same publisher and adds ability to share data in real time between members on the same network/workgroup. The application is tailored specifically to the needs of repair agencies that deal with repair of cars, bikes, appliances or whatever. This is built as a planning tool for repair technicians to schedule repair related tasks in co-ordination with others in the team or shop. Scheduled appoints can be taken up and tasks assigned to service bay technicians. Lot of customer details can be held in the application such as their names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail address etc. More importantly their comments about earlier jobs or a report about a problem can be viewed easily and this information used while planning the repair activity. The task planning is supported by alarm/alerts/reminders to notify a person assigned with a task. If workgroup members have task data available in Outlook, it is possible to sync that with this application. On the other hand if data is to be sent out it too can be done and in multiple formats. XLS, TXT, HTML and XML are the formats supported.
The interface is built on the lines of the familiar Outlook interface. Calendar can viewed in vertical or horizontal timelines. A table view available provides an overall look at the tasks of the day at a time. View of payments and income at any time is possible. Client data entry is made easier by automatic search and auto form filling features. Auto back up and archive management such as removing old archives helps recover from virus problems or crashes.
