Talking Clipboard is a text to speech software, with lots of useful features. It supports all SAPI compliant voices, and can read file formats directly like PDF, DOC, ePub, RTF, HTML and TXT or can read text from any application using clipboard.

Features: Talking Clipboard can read text and speak it out aloud. It supports all SAPI compliant voices. It can read document formats DOC, PDF, RTF, HTML and TEXT. It is able to read the ePub format. Other eBook formats can be converted using any2epub. Anu2epub is a module available from Calibre Software. It can also read text copied from other application via the clipboard.

You can edit and save files in TEXT, WAV and MP3 formats. ID3 tags also can be handled. Text can be highlighted as it is being read. You can have complete control like play/pause/ stop etc. It can convert text to audio MP3/Wav files and support full control over reading like Play/ Pause/ Stop, You can do batch conversion of text files into audio files. Bookmarks can be set and the program allows you to move to specific bookmarks using menu entries. Control can be operated from menu, system tray or even via the media remote control. Several parameters of the speaking voice can be adjusted such as the voice itself, speed, pitch, volume etc. The txt being read can be changed too in some aspects. It`s font and the font color can be changed.

Overall: Nice features but on attempts to install the trial software we encountered problems. While it installed without problems, it could not be executed. Windows problem reports came up as well as bug report forms from the publisher.
