Once everything is set the bar code label to be printed can either be created as a BMP image or a PDF file full of a batch of code labels to be printed. PDF being a better file format for printing the labels with high fidelity. For printing a batch of labels one can import the data as a text file which is just a list of all the actual text to be created into the bar code labels. The user interaction page allows such data files to be loaded. On the ‘barcode” tab the user can specify the type of barcode to be printed, bar width, height, rotation angle and caption alignment are specified. On the “PDF” tab layout of the labels on the PDF page are specified. Parameters related to the text printed on the bar code labels can be set. For example the font and font size choices are available as is the font color. The bar code color also can be changed. The nice and easy to use interface is easy to learn.
Cons: Typically the labels get printed on adhesive backed label making stationary. These papers have some standard layouts and the stationary created and the one on which labels are to be printed need to match. It is not clear from documentation provided if it is so.
