High zoot OCRs may work better or have more shiny things, but this free version does a real whizz-bang job! Keeps formatting like a pro, rarely goofs, and when it does, it highlights the questionable text. It even read my hand printing (if I was very careful) If you only need OCR occassionally, this is a swell gift from ABBYY.
