Cube it Zero Personal

This is a software tool that lets you build a data cube for OLAP analysis for Access data.

CUBE-it Zero Personal will create local cube files (.cub) based on data from Microsoft Access or Microsoft SQL Server. SQL Server Analysis Server will not be required to build such cubes, but can be used if necessary. While, typically, OLAP is associated with data warehouse based work, no such foundation is really required to use the Cube It tool. It is able to provide the users with fully functional OLAP cubes. Reports from the cubes using Microsoft Office Excel are generated easily. Data can be used from MS Access as well as Oracle and ODBC compatible databases. Creating the data cube is quite a simple process with this tool. You need to design a report query using the visual query designer after the data source has been connected. Content of the cube is decided thereafter as required for your report. A single click will build the cube after that. The process ensures there are fewer errors compared to conventional means.

The product comes in three different editions that are named foundation, personal and professional. Depending on your needs you should try out and see what fits your requirements. In general, the product is able to deliver a prototype cube almost instantly. You are able to then make a judgment call as to the usefulness of the report generated from the cube.
