If the organization is in terms of folders and shelves like in the paper world, one can be entirely comfortable with that paradigm.

There are no size limitations in either case. Access rights can be set up to keep everything secure. Could be a good solution for the organization, home and for the students. Overall: Nice and useful features but all that works only after everything has been scanned. If you have a bunch of documents that need to be scanned it could be quite an issue.
