This is a PDF reader for the Windows 8.1 platform.
Windows 8.1 provides its own Metro-style Windows Reader for viewing Adobe`s PDF format documents. This native reader is a little simplistic. It provides you a full-screen experience like other Metro-style apps. This program however, adds to the functionalities available for handling PDF documents and makes it possible to work collaboratively with other native applications on the same desktop. This application will be a useful application for working in Windows 8.1 desktop environment. The most important feature is, of course, the ability to read the PDF documents. That includes open, view, read, and print capability of Adobe PDF files of all versions. There are several modes available including Fit Page, Center Page, and Continuous. Center page view mode provides the facility to view one complete page at one time. You will need to use the navigation controls to move from one page to another.
Fit page mode displays one complete page that fits in the full screen display area. Whatever scaling needs to be done to the page is done automatically. In the continuous mode the whole document is displayed as one continuous roll of pages. One page follows another closely and scrolls through the display together. You get to see one page worth of display at any time. Scrolling sideways is also available. The scrolling through the document could be through the scroll button on the mouse. In the other two modes the navigation is done vertically and page to page. Zoom feature is available as is rotation. Several formats conversions could be handled such as PDF to TXT, JPG, GIF, PNG, BMP, EPS, WMF, EMF, and TIFF page by page. This is a very good product. If you are looking for a similar solution, you should try it in your exact workflow.
