This is a tool that helps transfer data from one database (Postgre SQL) to another (SQLite).
If you needed to transfer data from Postgre to SQLite, this is tool that can help. This tool is compatible to the Windows platform and will work with Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008, 7, and 8. This tool does it automatically and saves time when the IT department has to do this often or they have to transfer large amounts of data from one to the other. IT personnel can simplify things further by scheduling the transfers to convenient times so that they do not even need to babysit the process. You could simply specify the source and destination tables. The simple interface makes it easy to do that and configure the thing visually. The other way of doing this would be to harvest data through query from a source database and transfer that to the destination table specified.
Session parameters could be saved for reuse on later sessions. The tool has a command line interface. However you need to be a little experienced to ensure parameters are specified properly. Or you could use the batch process. There is a progress bar indication progress of the transfer operation. It indicates the time taken and time required to complete session. Percentage transfer completed, number of records transferred are couple of other things you get to see. It can be of great help to the IT departments when frequent database transfers are to be made in an organization. This is a very good tool. If you have a need, try it out in your own set up.
