The tool provides three different tools in one. It includes a training tool that will help you become a more proficient reader both online and offline, an assessment tool to assess and track your reading level and an online reading tool to help you read more efficiently while online. The assessment tool will keep telling you how you are improving with the training you receive. That feedback will help you adjust to the training effectively. You could use this tool in one of three different ways. There is a course mode, a menu mode and an expert mode. The course mode is a self paced training mode. You pick and choose from the menu of training activities in the menu and determine your weak areas through the assessment. You then pick the specific training item you need to concentrate on.

Expert Mode lets you have complete control over the material, lets you download the documents and web pages you need and set the display mode and speed. This can be used for training purposes. You could use it as a online reading tool too. The tool helps break bad habits like sub vocalization and regression. The training activities used include timed comprehension, eye pacing drills and eye games. You graduate through grades 1-12 levels of reading material onto the adult level. Administration is easy and there are a range of easy customization options available. These include font, colors, display modes, speeds, delays, bookmarks, column width, hotkeys, etc. You can customize the tests, drills and games in the deluxe version, which is for network based school edition. There are four different editions available for the program. The interface is well designed.
