This application has typing tutor, tests and typing games. A full-featured Software for learning touch typing for all age groups, it includes 5 typing games.

Pros: GS typing tutor helps one learn typing professionally rather than two finger typing or pecking that many of us use. One could choose to do that on a full QWERTY keyboard or specialized ones like Dvorak left-handed or the right handed keyboards.

One could monitor progress after starting at a basic level. The application provides reports and charts of progress in terms of WPM speed achieved. One could, based on these results design special exercises that focus on weak areas. Similarly one could exercise the numeric keypad only data entry style used by cashiers or accountants. More than 28 keyboard styles, as used in different language keyboards are provided by the program.

To make learning interesting the tutor also provides games based on typing that helps improve skills. The initial settings and preferences can be set very easily and does not require much computer skills. Preferences such as the interactive screen colors etc can be decided by the user. Multiple users could use the same machine as several profiles that maintain the preferences and maintain individual statistics can be maintained.
