Pros: When somebody tries to write poetry or songs it helps quite a bit if one could have a ready reference that can find words that rhymes with a particular word. It’ll also be useful to find synonyms, antonyms and definitions and other related stuff. Not that makes you a poet or a song-writer. But if you already are this application could be a big help. The application seemingly has 21 different ways to find rhyming words. Ordinary rhyming dictionaries give you a list of perfect rhymes. Rhymesaurus gives you end rhymes, reverse rhymes, light rhymes, first-syllable rhymes, homophones, matching assonance and consonance patterns, words containing specific sounds, and much, much more from its 120,000 word dictionary. Rhymesaurus highlights words based on their frequency of usage in the English language. More common words are more heavily highlighted, making them easier to spot. It displays a list of well-known idioms, phrases, and clich豠that end with rhyming words. One could find words based on their stress patterns, spellings, sounds – a different kind of rhyming.
The search results are presented in the typical search engine pattern in the word surf feature. Besides, words have hypertext links. Highlighted words can be clicked get to another related word and this can go on until you are satisfied with your find.
