Pros: Math Mechanixs It works using a Math Editor allowing you to type the mathematical expressions similar to the way you would write them on a piece of paper. The software uses a multiple document interface so that you can work on multiple solutions simultaneously. There is a full feature scientific calculator for those of you who just like to press buttons. In addition there is an integrated variables and functions list window so that you can easily track your defined variables and functions. One could easily create large 2D and 3D full color graphs that can be labeled with custom captions, add point labels, rotate, zoom and translate these graphs. The math software also provides an extensive library of over 200 functions including general math, trigonometric, chemistry, geometric, statistical, and numerous random number generators that follow a variety of statistical distributions and many other function categories. There are 45 advanced statistical functions including a complete set of random number generators following various types of statistical distributions. The library is also completely extendable by the user. Math Mechanixs also includes a function solver graphical interface that allows you to quickly obtain a solution to a function by only entering the input. The calculus and the numeric integration module can perform single, double, and triple integration. You can easily compute the integral of almost any mathematical function. Numerical differentiation can perform similarly and one can plot the differentiation curve to locate maxima and minima. A root finding utility for finds real and complex roots of a polynomial.

One can attach notes to calculations and shave and share worksheets with others. An integrated context sensitive help system with numerous tutorials in WMV file format makes the application easy to learn.
