Fax Router puts an end to questions such as “Who will deliver this fax to John?” or “Could you please pass this fax to Jane?” This software converts all faxes to PDF files and allows the user to distribute the same effectively by e-mailing, copying or printing these files. Once the software is opened, the fax is automatically converted to a PDF format and a small eDocFile box appears on the top right corner of the screen. This box asks for a shortcut. Once a shortcut command for a recipient is entered, the user can choose the action to be performed on the fax. It could be e-mailed to the recipient, copied onto the recipient’s computer or sent to his/her printer. The same shortcut can be used for individual employees, multiple people from different departments or for a group of employees working on the same project.

If multiple functions need to be performed on the same fax, for example it is to be printed and e-mailed, click on the Advanced button in the eDocFile box. This will take the user to the advanced menu where he/she can enter the shortcut commands for various recipients and select the respective actions to be performed.

Another time-saving and hence useful feature of this software is that as soon as actions on a particular fax are completed, the software automatically moves on to the next fax; thereby, reducing the frustration of opening and closing multiple windows. The user can also skip faxes and move on to the relevant one by clicking on the Skip button in the eDocFile box. This box can also be customized to perform only select actions. But what happens to the original fax? A copy of the original fax is automatically stored in the Archives folder for future reference.
