This is a fax server for receiving and transmitting faxes over email infrastructure.
FaxMind is a fax server that enables you to send and receive faxes via existing email infrastructure. These are known as email to fax and fax to email services. This service then is able to get email messages regularly from a number of POP3 accessible mailboxes. These can be automatically converted into faxable image based on your email contents. These are then sent out as fax messages. Inbound faxes, voices or fax transmission reports will be sent via SMTP server. It is possible to set up simple IVR and voice message capability. The program runs as Windows service and thus it is always present and does not take any display space. This can be easily integrated with Microsoft Exchange, MDaemon, Domino/Notes, Postfix, or other mail servers. The tool comes with built-in support for Dialogic, Diva API, diva fax boards. Automatic detection and use of all fax modems/boards is available to the server.
The program provides support for the Google Apps, including checking email from Gmail, uploading faxes to Google Docs, importing Google Accounts, etc. File format support include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Reader(PDF), OpenOffice files, RTF, HTML, TIF and other image files. Up to 10 configuration files could be set up. Each file can cater to a user with his fax lines, POP3/SMTP accounts, Google Docs account and the routing rules. Documents are automatically extracted and faxed for documents attached as enclosures. It supports TWAIN compatible scanners. Automatic printing of inbound faxes and notifications for them are supported. Rule based routing is available. This is a very good product.
