Pros: Joy fax Server makes sending/ receiving and managing faxes in an organization easy and flexible. It is designed as a client-server application. With the client integration and installation of a fax driver you can send out a fax from any application on your machine- simply print the document to the fax printer. All faxes from the local applications get stored on the central server and get scheduled for onward transmission. Similarly all faxes received are distributed to the recipients on different machines on the network. Automatic routing takes care of that. Routing to the user`s e-mail is possible. Fax broadcast feature is available. You can track who actually have read the fax send to him.

The application is able to save costs, save time in managing fax communication from most business applications such as OA, CRM and ERP. A centralized public contacts manager helps share business contacts information. The directory includes full name, company name, phone, fax and e-mail details. Joyfax is able to automatically detect and configure available hardware. There`s a built-in database that takes care of data management. Security management is built in too.

Cons: The central address directory will need to be maintained to hold current details. So the responsibility to do that should be clearly defined as otherwise this can fall between the cracks.

Overall: Nice set of features, ease of setting up and use makes this a nice tool. Rated at 4 stars.
