Edgeseeker is an add-in to Excel that allows you to download data from financial sites. Sites like free internet data sources Yahoo! Finance, Google Finance and others can be downloaded to Excel directly. Edgeseeker works with virtually any delimited data file (comma delimited, tab delimited, etc.) and any periodicity (daily, weekly, monthly, annual or intraday). You can parse data, and convert data types easily. Edgeseeker keeps data stored in a local database for quick access. The application will periodically check for new data and update when available. Data gets inserted appropriately so that you can carry out your analysis directly on the data. The data that will let you make better decisions in share trading.

You can search and merge data from multiple sources. It is possible to consolidate differing time periods and have the results available in your Excel sheet. The plug-in lets you integrate all of your data. Your main concern thus remains the analysis rather than management of data.
