Vladovsoft Bargen is a barcode generator that is quite easy to use. The software is able to handle a range of barcode standards, for example popular codes like the EAN 8, EAN 13, ISBN, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, UPC-A, Codabar, ITF 14, Interleaved 2 of 5, etc. That should take care of most of the needs. This is important, as you need to be able to find the right readers and unless a standard is followed, there would be problems. In some cases, like the EAN 8 and the EAN 13 codes, the software tool will generate the check digits on its own too. All you have to do is to enter the values to be represented in barcodes. The settings button on the interface will let you access the label positioning information accurately. Positioning can be done easily graphically. It is a convenient idea. When creating multiple labels, they could be as close as a millimeter to each other.

Sequential barcodes can be imported and the export of a barcode label is possible in vector or raster formats. The tool also can check if a barcode is valid or not. You can set the rules for naming the barcodes exported. The program will take care of the naming automatically. You would not need to hunt for a special printer to get the labels printed, several of them could be printed on a single page. Couple of features would have been very useful. These are fairly common on barcode label maker software. One feature is the capability to automatically generate sequential barcodes, and the second feature missing is the capability to use standard stationary like the Avery sheets. A handy tool otherwise.

Vladovsoft Bargen is an easy to use barcode generator software. You can use the program to generate many types of barcodes. 34 types are currently supported: EAN 8, EAN 13, ISBN, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, UPC-A, Codabar, ITF 14, Interleaved 2 of 5, etc. You can also generate 2D barcodes by the QR code standard.
Barcode data can be entered manually or imported from Excel or Access files. The generated barcodes can be printed or exported to images (vector or raster). The barcode generator automatically calculates the check digits of the entered barcode and verifies if the barcodes are valid or not. It also lets you specify the size of the barcode label and the distances between the barcodes with accuracy 0.1 mm. If you want you can add images/photos to the barcode labels, for example a photo of the product the barcode represents.
