Pros: BMP to PDF Converter converts BMP images to PDF document files. It is not only the BMP format images but several other image formats are handled by the application. The formats handled include JPEG, TIFF, JPG, TIF, PNG, PCX, GIF, PCD, PSD, TGA, BMP, DCX, PIC, EMF, WMF etc. Multi-page images can be converted too. There’s no need for the Acrobat software to be present. There’s a command line version as well as a DLL component version available of the same application from the publisher.

You are able to specify multiple directories and image into one PDF document also besides creating individual documents. You can support single file processing, single directory processing, multi-level directory processing with equal ease. Processing functionalities available includes de-speckling of black & white images and de-skewing. Sorting on file is possible when converting images in a batch. Drag & drop ease all operations. Specify resolution to be used. Password protection with encryption is available. You are able to set permissions for document printing, copying and edits. Document title, subject, author and keywords and such other metadata can be specified. The application is supported on Win98/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003 platforms.

Cons: Support for Vista need to be implemented for the application. People are already talking about Windows 7!

Overall: Though for a very specific niche the functionality is well implemented. Nice interface too. This is 4 star material.
