Ribbit is a little program that lets you use LaTeX in word processors such as Microsoft® Word. Ribbit makes sure that the math you enter looks good, prints pretty, and plays nice with the rest of the text. Ribbit takes care of the little things, such as numbering formulas and positioning them on the page, and stays out of your way the rest of the time.

Have you ever tried to enter LaTeX text into a Microsoft Word document only to find that it messes with the entire normality of your page? Welcome to the problem the creators of Ribbit were having. Ribbit was created to take care of that small, layout, and style problems that the math coding leaves in the midst of your Word document.
Ribbit only makes sure the style of your document looks nice and stays out of your way the rest of the time, which is something you can`t say about other programs you might have used. It takes care of the smaller details such as numbering formulas, positioning them on the page, and making sure the formulas you want to include don`t disrupt the flow of the rest of your text.
Ribbit seems like a very helpful program to those in the business world who happen to use a large amount of numbers. To present a report, though, bosses don`t want to see an excel document of numbers – they want to see a nice, typed-up report that includes the numbers and formulas in it. For that purpose, Ribbit is a great program.
