I purchased version 4.33 ($19), the downloaded file was version 4.31, and support said that 4.33 had `bugs` and was pulled back. Well, version 4.31 has bugs too.
Namely, this program gets VERY LOST if you ever re-use an existing .cdrom file (the `project` file that MakeCDROM makes that has all the information in it). This implies you have to always open a `new` project, start from scratch, and hope you NEVER make a mistake.
The documentation says you can edit old projects, but it seems that you can never update a `hotspot`s (a dynamic field on the display brought up after the autorun starts) original directory. It always reverts to what the 1st directory was that you put in!
Another bug is, if you happen to have #`s in a path (like say c:\ProductX\v2.1.1.1x1\Release\images, MakeCDROM truncates the path at the last number. Not very compatible with Windows... They must use their own browse code and not default Windows browse code from a MS Visual Studio type tool... Not that that should be necessary IF IT WORKED...
Support is via email, and there is no way you can find a support phone number anywhere, so any issues take DAYS to get resolved.
THIS WOULD BE A DECENT PRODUCT EXCEPT FOR THE ABOVE ISSUES, HOWEVER save your $20, consider the time and aggrevation you will expend trying to get this `autorun.exe` tool to work, and invest in something better.
