Interactive slideshows and menus can be created with the Visual Autorun application. Integrated menu designer and icon library can be used to create a customized menu. The application has been certified to be compatible with Windows Vista.

Pros: This application makes it easy to add autorun functionality to CD, DVD or USB drives. Any interactive slideshows created to be carried in any of these devices will have the autorun feature added. This package also helps in making the slideshow. Integrated menu designer and icon library can be used to create a customized menu. Icons can be picked from the internal library or a customized one created from companion utilities, which can be downloaded separately. The integrated menu design allows one to size and position the layout of the buttons, caption, and picture and customize fonts and colors. You can start the presentation with a splash screen too.

Music can be added in couple of ways. One can have a music played at the opening of the show. Second option is to have music played in the background as the slideshow plays. One can have both the options too. Audio formats supported are .mp3, .wav, .wma and .mid. Timing of the slide displays also can be set. This can be automatic or driven by the presenter.

Just to make sure the presenter does not have a last minute problems in setting up the presentation. The application does an automatic, intelligent checking of the player available to make sure of compatibility. One could have the internal player loaded pf course, that’ll make sure of compatibility at presentation time.

For the final step of creating/burning a CD one could use the built in CD burner or any of the popular ones available with the user. The user interactions are well designed and simple. The application takes the user through the process in a simple sequence.
