The software package converts units in length or area to another unit. Range of units spans a large list. It has very easy to use interface.

Pros: The interface is a simple two column affair with two tabs for area and length. On each tab the relevant units can be converted from one to another. There are two lists of units on each tab. You simply select a tab, click on a unit on left to be converted to a unit selected on the right. There’s a corresponding field below each list to enter the actual value of the measurement to be converted. One can actually enter the measurement on either field and it gets converted on the other window depending on the units selected. I guess, it can’t get any simpler than that. The units are all measurements as used in the real-estate market and helps calculate area/length in preferred units and arrive at correct prices. Software supports windows 98 NT ME XP 2000 2003.

Cons: Some interface messages are inconsistent. When you close the application a query asks if you really want to close the “data Doctor’s raw file recovery application”!! Units in area cover a large range from Acres, Ares, Dunams to tatami and Tsubo whereas length units cover a similar large range staring from Admiralty miles, Angstroms and Nanometers even. While the application is directed at real estate market, the rationale for addition of such small units as angstroms or nanometers or square centimeter of area is not very clear. Nor the rational for large units like astronomical units for example.

Overall an application for a very limited purpose but with extensive coverage. A really simple to use interface makes this a good application at a very good rating of 3 stars.
