Pros: The application provides the tools necessary for discrete and continuous probability distributions in one compact program. The user interface area is nice and clean, simple to use. The distributions that can be analyzed are beta, binomial, chi-squared, exponential, F, hyper-geometric, log normal, normal, Poisson, Student T etc.

Lists of Binomial Coefficients, Factorials and Permutations; Calculations of Gamma and Beta Functions; Printing of Standard Normal Tables and Critical t Values are made available. Defining parameter sets are automatically chosen on the interface. The tabbed result area has two other tabs beside the analysis page. The graphing page will display graphs that fit the data one can set the several parameters that include number of points to be included, max and min values to be included etc. To define these max and min parameters one can use a pop up calculator. Preferences allow many aesthetic parameters such as colors of graphs etc to be set. You can define number of decimal places desired for result values. Fully Customizable and an integrated Help System is available including a Tutorial. The third tab on the interface explains lot of contextual information about the distribution being handled currently. Thus the application is very useful for Mathematics/Stats Students who wish to understand probability distributions better.

Cons: Would need some learning to be able to use this effectively and interpret results.

Overall: A very good focused program, easy to use when one understands the theory of it all and knows what result one is trying to find. This is rated at a very good level of 3 stars.
