Express Talk is software that works like a telephone to let you make calls from your PC. With Express Talk you can call anyone on the internet who has installed Express Talk (or any other SIP VoIP softphone). Calls are free.

Features: The Express Talk softphone that lets you connect with anyone else over a SIP VoIP network equipped with similar softphone. You could connect a webcam or webcam or other video device and you can see and speak to family, friends and colleagues around the world. Calls to computer are free. For a charge one could connect to the actual telephone network too. You`ll need to sign with a VoIP gateway company to avail this feature. Express Talk is also now available for Pocket PC, so now you can take your VoIP numbers with you wherever you go. This would be useful when you are on the roads.

You are able to configure up to six lines of the softphone on your PC, you`d have the ability to put calls on hold. Caller ID display and call logging features are available. Call transfers and the recording of calls are available too. WAV is the format supported. The six lines mentioned earlier can be set in a conference configuration too. Do not disturb and push to talk intercom like facilities also can be set up easily. Phone dialing is supported by a phone book and speed dial. Phone numbers can be taken from the MS address book. Emergency number calling is provided.
