With MizuPhone you can connect to any SIP (proxy and/or registrar) server on the public internet or on your local area network. The Mizu software comes with not only SP compatibility but also P2P features and a intuitive interface. You are able to keep communication costs down while taking advantage of the VoIP features. It offers users a familiar interface. The interface design is based on dial pad based design, much like the Skype, MSN or Yahoo! Messenger. The program comes with multiple connectivity options so that costs can be kept low. These features include multiple accounts, multiple SPI provider registrations and intelligent path detection.

Clear voice quality due to ultra wideband codecs being used. Audio codecs supported are G711, G.722, G.726, G.723.1, G729, GSM, iLB and Speex. Mute, hold, redial, transfer, forward and conference facilities are available. Instant messaging and SMS support are also available. Local as well as remote voice mail is supported. HD video call can be supported depending on the camera used and bandwidth available. Video codecs that are supported include MPEG1, MPEG4, Theora, H263, H264 and MJPG.
