MEMOTXT provides a simple to use tool that allows you to centrally manage appointments. It is FREE to use as a scheduler. Also has the ability to send out SMS appointment reminders with one click.

Pros: Memotext is a simple application with which it is easy to maintain appointments. The program reminds the person with whom an appointment has been set up to be reminded. This has the ability to send out SMS appointment reminders with one click to all your appointees, reminding them of their appointment with you. This helps reduce and eliminate `No Shows` in the most effectively. The simple interface consists of a calendar showing the current month. Scroll buttons to scroll through different months. By the side of the same is the appointments entry interaction area. One has the delete and edit control to enter appointments correctly. Appointments are then listed in the appointments diary area. Appointments can be entered every 15 minutes. The details that are listed are the names, mobile phone numbers and notes about the appointment. Send SMS reminders buttons sends out reminders to all the appointment holders. It’s possible to see the SMS reports(delivered/queued/failed) to make sure everybody did get the reminders.

Tools available help check SMS credit balance availability and the facility to buy additional credits if necessary. Settings allow you to enter the prefix text and suffix text to date & time reminder that the application generates automatically. You could test that everything is fine before sending out the same.

Cons: It would have been nice if one were able to schedule the text messages, say 2 hours prior to appointment time individually. It is not known if any adaptation is required for using it at different geographical locations of the world.

Overall: A simple application that’s very easy to use. Though a very focused function is handled, it is done well so it is rated at 4 star level.
