OrgScheduler LAN

This application is a network calendar/scheduling system. Calendar management is implemented at two levels: manager and users. The each user maintains his own calendar, and Workgroup manager can manage all calendars.

Network alerts could be set that reminds everybody in the group of a common event such as a meeting. A unique label and a name represents each user in the calendar and the program displays a list of active users at any time.

The user interface is based on the MS outlook options. Import and export of data from and to Outlook is possible through text, HTML, XML etc. One can communicate via spreadsheets too. It features different time display options in the day view, 149 event coloring types to indicate an event`s kind and importance, automatic hints that display an event`s start and end time together with its caption, multiple look and feel styles, event recurrence control. The LAN-version gives you a customizable Resource Navigator, new Date Navigator, a comprehensive reminder, control over the events overlapping and a mechanism for sharing events between an arbitrary number of different resources (users). With OrgScheduler, you can use e-mail or SMS to send appointments, reminders and invitations to colleagues, friends and family members.

There are a lot of viewing options available with the application. The calendar can be formatted according to regional setting of the user. View by day, week, month, quarter and year are available. One can view all days or work days only and in two major formats. A horizontal timeline view and a vertical timeline view is possible. Print designer lets the user set up professional looking reports of events/tasks etc. or the complete calendar.

Overall: Really a very well designed application with a lot of useful features. This is certainly a 5 star feature.
