This is a component for Agile project management tool Sprintometer.
This is an optional component to SCRUM tool Sprintometer. This tool adds a Sprintometer to SCRUM. When installed, it helps storage of spring data related to the SCRUM project management process by all the team members. Each team member communicates to the data base through their own clients. All data being available centrally is useful for every team member as they are able to view the exact status of the specific runs of the project or a SCRUM as it is defined. There can be unlimited number of clients and these communicate via web services. A `Burn-down` chart with statistical prediction is offered. To be able to track exact amount of work done or left to be done, you are offered a `Track upon work left/complete` chart with statistical prediction. Automatic data merge in server mode helps concurrent team work. Both standalone and client-server modes are supported by the tool.
The team size can be varied during a sprint run or one iteration of the software development. You are able to track development and testing tasks separately. All charts and spreadsheets can be exported to Microsoft Excel. The user interface is styled on Excel 2007. To make working with the tool easy, several levels of undo/redo are available so that the user can always recover from any mistakes made. The application responds quite quickly even when dealing with fairly large teams in the sprint. The tool supports extreme programming or the XP methodology. User defined work types are supported. This is a very good product.
