Pros: Time billing and various tax details can be taken care of in the application easily. Estimates/quotations are taken care of in the system. Invoices get created based on the components and material used, their prices and of course the time based labor charges. The services team members are assigned access rights depending on their need to access to information. Payment system is integrated and full or part payments can be accepted, the system includes such practical touches such as validity checks for credit cards. Back up and restore of the database is part of the regular operation, back up is triggered on schedule. As the clientele base gets built up, this same customer base can be utilized as prospect base for promotional e-mail campaigns and a mass e-mail agent in the application can take care of it. The data base used can handle a fairly large amount of records of the order of 100, 000 in the royalty free database integrated into the system. Access to the system over the organization’s LAN or from anywhere on the Internet is possible.

Cons: Even though this is a recent version, in the fast moving computer industry, some details are not relevant or some options do not make sense anymore. For example in the system check in CPU type option does not include the dual core/ quad core processors, installed memory is shown as 1 GB maximum(actually shown as 1 Gb, which really means Giga bits rather than G butes). With Vista 2 GB installed memory has become very common. Similarly HDD capacities of 160 GB is really mainstream now, while 500 GB or even a 1 Terabyte drive is not uncommon.
