GIPALS 0.8.1 is the shareware application that deals with inputs, import and export Linear programs. It also solves any linear programs using primal-dual interior point method for up to 500,000 variables and constraints. It also informs you if any linear program has no solution. Salient features of this application are as follows. It has large number of variables and constraints. It gives you the facility of direct input LP in sparse and compact form. You can also bring and send LP from MPS file format. You can also find the value of variables after each calculation. You can also save your LP in XML file format and send your solutions to others in CVS or TML file format. It also allows you to debug your program. You can simultaneously work on more than one LP using Multi-Document Interface. Some of the other features of this application are Adjustable Preprocessor, Detection and extracting dense columns, higher order Gondzio correction strategy and much more.

This application can work only on linear programs and not other mathematical functions or programs.
