AlfaClock is a handy taskbar clock with powerful capabilities and stylish design. It comes with Atomic Clock Synchronization feature, alarm, ISO8601 compliant calendar, and date/time announcer.
Pros: The AlfaClock is a taskbar clock but adds the sophistication of the ability to synchronize with atomic clocks( for example alfasoftweb) and keep itself synchronized with atomic time. You can have a clock per user of your machine too. Each of the user can customize her clock the way she likes. Further customization choices are through the language interface. You can choose the interface language and if you choice is not available you could easily create one. You can set AlfaClock to display time, date and day of the week simultaneously. You can customize AlfaClock to announce this information periodically. Besides you can set alarms so that you do not lose track of time. A stylish design added to all this makes the AlfaClock quite attractive. Correct time may be critical to some computer users - for example, to professional eBay bidders, who make their final bids thirty seconds before the auction closes. Accurate timekeeping would be meaningful to those users who bid at eBay 30seconds prior to the close of a bidding session for example. System wide hotkeys make operating the application easy. Automatic web updates are available. You can decide to have the clock on top on the display face. Copy of date/time to clipboard feature makes it easier to export time data and a fully customizable ISO 8601 compatible pop-up calendar adds some useful features. Full support of Windows XP Visual Styles (Themes) lets the AlfaClock accurately determines all taskbar clock settings with enabled Visual Styles (Themes). Toolbar tips contain multi-line tips. Log of all interactions with atomic timeservers are maintained.
Cons: No apparent issues noticed.
Overall a nice, clean clock and calendar application thatís easy to learn and use. This is good for a 5 star rating.
