This is a tool that automatically timestamps and date stamps any new entries or updates in Excel lists, it also automatically records who made the change.
TimeStamp automatically date stamps and timestamps Excel entries and changes. Thus if a spreadsheet is shared with other users, you are able to have an audit trail, in terms of who made the change and at what time! Customer prospect list is a good example of an application for this tool. You would have a clear data on when exactly you got the prospect entered into your list. Project implementation update could be another use that lets you keep track of all the status updates. Interviewing candidates could well be an application you want to use this tool for. The entries will have such relevant details automatically recorded such as who interviewed each candidate, when and with what result.
In normal spreadsheet display, the additional data are captured and displayed. The display area is color coded. For example, the main spreadsheet could be in blue in the main area. Date and time stamps of each entry of the list are marked on the left of the list item cell. You get the name of the person making the change on the right. Both these areas are colored yellow to highlight the additional data added by this tool. Using it will be very simple. Anyone who is able to use a spreadsheet should be able to use this tool quite easily.
