After the development of Kamlex Converter, conversion of one unit to any other unit is no longer a problem. This software provides the easiest and most convenient way to convert values to any units the user wants.

The program window opens to a user-friendly interface having tabs for the broad categories, like Basic, Information, Mechanical, Electrical, Thermal, Optical and Custom, of conversions that the user may want to perform. Selecting a tab would display another set of tabs for the sub-categories, such as Time, Sound, Pressure, Electric Current, Temperature, Fuel Consumption, Mass Flow, Angle, Length, Density, Magnetic Induction and so on.

All the user has to do is select the relevant tabs and enter the numerical value to be converted in the Input box and then select the input and desired output units from the lists given below the Input and Output boxes. The result will be displayed in the Output box.

Though the interface looks a little drab and serious because of the extensive use of the color gray, it is extremely easy-to-use. There is no hassle of moving from one drop-down menu to another to reach the desired function. All one has to do is keep clicking on the relevant tabs. Further, if the same value has to be converted to multiple units, all one has to do is keep changing the selection below the Output box; no need to reenter the input value.

Moreover, Kamlex Converter comes with a function for converting XML text files. This makes it possible for the user to easily edit and add new units and thus develop a customized converter. This version already has 560 in-built units and allows the user to add any number of other units that he/she wants to. In other words, unit conversion cannot get any easier!
