SpamButcher is email client independent. It can work for any user who accesses their email via the POP3 protocol.

SpamButcher does not work with AOL or Hotmail accounts.

SpamButcher is the solution to the ever-increasing spam email problem. It is an advanced client-side anti-spam filter. If you spend most of your surfing time deleting spam messages and clearing your inbox, then you can save a considerable amount of your time using this tool. It works simply by checking for new messages and holding the spam mails to be examined later. You have an option to specify your filter settings as Conservative, Normal or Aggressive. If you want to save your time further, specify Known Senders as either ‘good’ or ‘bad’. The mails from the good senders will not be intercepted. You can configure the tool as per your convenience by specifying the time interval between each check for new spam. You can request it to send spam reports and also specify automatic start-up at your login. Now you can anti-spam your inbox as easily as clicking the SpamButcher icon on the taskbar. Check this once and avoid checking and deleting spam messages thousands of times.
