Emails are sure a useful thing, but what if you want to send a file attached? In 99%, this kind of adventure turns out right, but sometimes the attachment file goes rubbish, for example, appearing as plain text in the received mail? What should you do then? Use Decode Shell Extension.
Decode Shell Extension is a small utility that lets you decode files encoded in MIME, yEnc, UUENCODED, BinHex, XXE, plain text or quoted-printable encoded file. If you have an encoded file and can't get to its contents via your email client, it's a great idea to install this tool and choose the "Decode" item in the Windows Explorer context menu as you browse to the file destination. The program will then analyze the file and decode it in the same directory or to a location of your choice.
The program does not create any program groups in the Start menu, neither it requires an icon in the tray. What it adds is the menu item in the right-mouse-click menu in Explorer. Download this utility today and see that for yourself.
