You're sure to have an email account. Some people use web-based mail, others use email client software such as MS Outlook Express or Eudora and load messages from their POP3 mailboxes directly to their computers. If your POP3 email client doesn't have a notification feature or it does but you'd like to try something new, have a look at the free and simple MailBay.
MailBay is an email notifying tool. It is capable of checking an unlimited number of POP3 email accounts and notifying you of new messages so that you can open your regular email client, receive and read them. Sounds somewhat unnecessary? That's wrong. Some people read their emails once a day, but would like to know whether there's something in during the day. Others wait for a very important message and it's quite inconvenient to run the email client and check for new messages again and again. That's where MailBay comes handy - it can check your mailboxes as frequently as you like and alert you by animating the tray icon, display a message, play a sound file and launch an application (say, the email client).
The program is very neat and may be useful although lacking in features. Download the free email notifier today and get alerted about new mail.
