1st Newsgroup Email Extractor is a utility to extract e-mail addresses and user names from the usenet newsgroups. It has a nice feature like removal of duplicate addresses, email address filters, Keyword search etc.

Features: The application has a very nice user interface. You can perform all the settings from a single user screen. You need to follow simple steps to extract email addresses.

To start the setting, click on "Connect" button and enter your connection options. Enter NNTP server name or IP address of your news server. Enter login and password to connect to the news server. In next step click on List Groups: button to retrieve all group names from the connected server. You can see the list of all the groups. Application allows you to add desired, targeted groups from top panel to bottom panel or use keyword search/add to automatically add group names that match to your keyword. In the next step click on "Start" button to begin extracting email addresses from selected news group list. You can see the list of all extracted email addresses on right side panel of screen. Once all email addresses are extracted click "Save" button to save your email address in TXT or CSV file. Application allows you to select options for extraction like extract email, extract name and email and extract all headers. You can also apply filter for extraction. Application allows you to save selected new group list, you can use this list in future. You can stop search in between and again resume when you want to start.

Overall: This is a nice tool to extract email address from newsgroups.
