Christmas time is around and its that time of the year when kids from all around the world eagerly wait for Santa to come down to earth riding his sledge with plenty of gifts for all of them. We all waited passionately for Santa from weeks ahead of the Christmas night at the early stages of our lives - admit it or not! But have you ever wondered how terrible you would have felt as a kid if someone told you about missiles being fired at Santa’s sledge in the mid-air by evil forces in order to destroy all the gifts he brought for children. Well that is precisely the story behind Santa’s Rebels 1.21 - another exciting offering from the house of Nordic Software. The game is fun to play despite its obvious limitations as a small scale game.
Santas Rebels 1.21, upon being launched, opens with an average looking main menu. It's up to you to choose the difficulty level of the game according to your own comfort level. The controls are pretty easy to handle and even a kid can get a good grasp on the same on his own. The main plot of the game, as explained above revolves around unknown evil forces firing missiles in order to ruin the gifts Santa brought us in his sledge. Now, you - i.e. the main character in the game have decided that its simply unacceptable to lose the precious gifts in the hands of mischievous elements in such a manner. So it's entirely up to you now to save the gifts by shielding them from the incoming missiles.
All in all, a pretty fun game to indulge in. The graphics could have been better though, and the same can be said about the soundtrack. But nonetheless, Santas Rebels 1.21 deserves no less than a score of three rating points on the scale of five.
