Maze games made a mark in the video gaming industry from the beginning of the golden era of arcade games. Since then, we have seen a number of maze chase games both in 2D and 3D formats, some of the popular ones being head-on, Pacman, Jawbreaker, Cosmic Crunchers, Snake Attack etc. Many of these games have been re-developed for mobile phones and PC with enhanced graphics quality and overall gameplay experience. Due to the increasing computing capabilities available to us at hand these days, these games are being developed on large scale for modern devices, one such game being Dino Lake 3D v.1.04.

Dino Lake 3D v.1.04 is a shareware 3D interfaced maze chase game developed somewhat on the lines of Pacman. The game employs a perfect blend of nice graphics and a pleasing and theme oriented music score, thus letting the user gain an immersive gameplay experience. The player has to control a cute looking dino and navigate through the whole maze to collect all the diamonds for progressing through the level. There are various monsters who are roaming around the maze, acting as opponents whom you have to engage with. The game employs a host of freeze bonuses, magic balls, special powers and various other features to assist the player in evading the monsters and speeding up gameplay spread across the three adventures namely Lava land, Forest land and snow land. With over 50 levels of increasing difficulty, the game offers long lasting entertainment to the player.

Dino Lake 3D v.1.04, undoubtedly, is a comprehensive game and a potentially popular and entertaining platform with its decent graphics quality requiring OpenGL enable 3D video card. The game is compatible with all the versions of Windows except Windows 7 which is, of course, a turn-off. Hence it receives a score of three and a half rating points out of five.
