Salameanderer is an arcade game by Astral Entertainment, somewhat similar to the classic PitFall. In Salameanderer you are a salamander who explores jungles. You have the choice of loading one of five pre-made maps to play, playing a completely random map, or creating your own map. While exploring the jungle you must avoid dangers like snakes and fires while collecting treasure like gold bars and ammo. You can travel above or below ground, in any direction you want. Also watch out for enemy salamanders trying to stop you
