Good vs evil, reign of terror vs freedom - the popular culture paradigm has always been driven by these two themes for ages now, the game industry being no exception in this trend. Subsequently, there is a huge number of titles available in the market based on the same theme. But nevertheless, the concept still sells - and for the right reasons too. After all, the same theme has given rise to so many wonderful games such as the likes of Thursday Night Black Crusade, Beyon Good and Evil etc. Originating from the house of Falco Software, another game based on the ever-green plot of the good taking on the evil in order to save innocent lives is Tanks USA Firestorm 1.3. Though, there is nothing special about the storyline, this game has indeed managed to climb up the ladder really fast in terms of popularity.
The story goes like this: Jack Jackson, an American soldier could not take no more of all the atrocities carried out by terrorists on the civilians of a particular country. He decided it was time, for someone to show those evil forces where they actually belong too - the south of heaven, or at best a Guantanamo Bay like prison. So, to teach the scumbags a tit for tat lesson, Jack gets inside his tank, and sets on a journey to liberate the country from all rogue elements. You need to put yourself into Jack’s shoes, and take the battle to all throughout the country, destroying every trash of evil elements you come across on your way to victory. The graphics quality, soundtrack, characterization, as well as control features are pretty standard.
Overall, Tanks USA Firestorm 1.3 is a pretty impressive game, capable of making virtually anyone an addict to the amazing actions and thrill that it brings along. Hence, it gets a score of four-and-a-half rating points on the scale of five.
