March to Victory with this Mid-West Favorite. Discover a new set of friends with an exciting game of Championship Euchre All-Stars.
Pros: Though this game is generally popular in the Midwestern states of the US it is also played in UK and parts of Canada. This game application lets you play against the machine at several levels of skills. There are 5 levels of skills to choose from. Opponent player are designed to be with quite realistic skill levels. There’s a built in personal dream coach to help out beginners. Like a true coach it will not only tell you what to play but also why you need to play that particular card. There are 5 variations of the game offered from the user interface. These variations are classic, British, bid, cutthroat and call best types.
The menu is done in typical games style, with lots of color and cartoon like icons on the interface area. Several custom game rules can be set. These relate to beside the preset variation, game variations(partner, bid, cutthroat or 3 player), whether Joker to be used or not in the British version of the game, cards to be used in dealing, re-deal options, dealing options, railroad options, whether NT bid is allowed and using cards for score. One nice aspect of the interface is the chosen panel lights up brightly and the rest of the options are dimmed. That makes the choice made very obvious. When playing, the machine sets up the other three players. Card table is set up in the classic green cover. The pace of the game is good and if you like this particular game there are enough challenges to keep you hooked. The difficulty levels are managed well by the built in artificial intelligence. Card decks, card faces and backgrounds can be customized.
Cons: No problems or particularly problematic issues detected.
Overall: Nice well defined card game where you play against opponents and a partner. Challenge levels are well designed and the whole thing is easy to learn. This definitely is a 4 star affair.
