Classic arcade snake game with many colorful levels. Collect diamonds and try to avoid the monsters. Great for kids age 6-12 (no violence). Tech specs: 320x400, 256 color graphics. No annoying music, just FX. 8 levels (full version has 50). Story: In Snake Snap, you are a snake that is always hungry- for emeralds. Unfortunately, those tasty emeralds are not so easy to get- you have to fight through narrow labyrinths or prevail against the nastiest creatures, only to optain some tiny diamond. Some treasures are even locked up behind doors and other hard-to-overcome mechanisms. But not all hope is lost: there are some nice goodies like dynamite or laser devices to be found to get rid of those annoying monsters, or to send this mean snake catcher to Nirvana. With increasing game level, the difficulty level increases accordingly- you will encounter more monsters, green slime, and other obstacles. Before you may leave a game level you must have collected a certain number of emeralds (the remaining amount is displayed at the bottom of the screen). Sometimes, the emeralds have to be collected before a time limit expires. At the end of each completed level you will receive a password so you may continue the game later.
