WHAT A PIECE OF S^$% SOFTWARE! All I wanted is to export ONE frame to a bmp file, to use as a DVD main menu background. During the install, I was warned that not installing the "partner software" would "limit the functionality" of the editor. Hmmmm...OK, I just need a single frame, dudes. Not only does the software NOT do what it should, it seems to go out of it`s way to make things difficult; ie, pressing stop doesn`t simply stop the video replay, it resets the pointer back to the first frame. So then I tried to grab the frame on the fly...it took the frame from when I hit the SAVE button, not when I hit the "Save frame" button. So then I tried to export a series of pictures, every 30 frames and let it run about 20-23 seconds...the result? only ONE pict in the folder, and it just happened to be VERY similiar to the one I tried to "fly-grab" earlier. Again, a PIECE OF S%&*!!
