Mines is a great puzzle game that dates back to Windows 3.1 and possibly earlier. Now you can play it on handheld PCs, mobile phones and any imaginable version of Windows. However, the classic game, although challenging in places, leaves much to be desired by the addicted, life-long player. Welcome littlepeter Mines, an advanced variation of the famous game.
littlepeter Mines is a Mines clone, but has far more features than the original game, the most prominent of which is detailed statistics and different playfield types: now you can have not just the usual, plain and boring field with square tiles, but Tri, Quad, Hex, Oct and Dodec field, each of which have different patterns and different number of tile sides touching each other, which makes the game much more challenging and renewed.
Another great feature is that you can set the first click never to die - ever experienced frustration because you blow up on a mine as you've just started the game? Well, no more of that here. Just a free, customizable and familiar puzzle for long winter afternoons.
