Word Twist 1.03 is an intellectual, ‘find the phrase’ sort of video game of puzzle genre from Kristanix Games.

Word Twist provides for a splendid gaming environment that can be played in full-screen as well as adjustable window mode. Unlike other games of the logic genre that cater through simple GUIs, Word Twist 1.03 goes for a high definition, highly detail-oriented GUI that can be compatible with shooter or arcade video games. Apart from challenging the cognitory senses of the users, designers of this game have intentionally designed it’s GUI to provide for some leisure during hectic office hours. As the game session begins the interaction is backed up with melodious music tunes that keep on playing till the users decide to quit or alter for the settings themselves. And that’s not all; interaction takes place on wonderfully scenic backgrounds that gradually keep on changing with elapsing times. Mouse-driven cursor gets sparkling magic wand like animated effect as it’s moved across the screen!

The ultimate goal of the user is to find the phrase by linking up the letters to guess hidden sequences of letters and then rounding up on the final phrase as well. If users find it too difficult they can opt for hints for which they need to compensate. Word Twist has 14 inbuilt categories that include Famous songs, Movie Titles, Artists, U.S. States, Countries, Animals and many more! There are more than 1000 phrases in its database that have been programmed to alter their sequences so that the questions aren’t repeated for maximum number of game sessions.

The game logic is somewhat complex and needs self-education through exploration during initial trials.

Overall: Highly interactive video game overall. Provides a soothing musical interface that could act as a stress reliever that compensates for its complex logic. Rating 3 stars.
