Computer Aided Diagnostic (CAD) software can manage the large volume of information that is involved in the diagnostic process. WinNBQ uses more than 4,400 clinical findings to describe the profile of 612 diseases. Findings include medical history, symptoms, physical signs, and laboratory test results. The Windows version of WinNBQ is available for single user; a Web-based version is under development.

As you enter the symptoms, etc, the findings are displayed simultaneously at the section below the findings bar. Selecting a finding, you just need to run DDx to display differential diagnoses, or DDx+ for showing the differential diagnoses and adding the finding to selected lists. The ‘selected findings’ list is displayed after the options bar, and below it you’re provided with Differential Diagnoses along with their score. You can get further information relating these by double clicking and the clinical and workgroup details would be shown in a new window. You can easily save any selected findings in text file for further usage.
