O2X (odbc2xls) is a simple, application that quickly and effectively extracts ODBC Table data into an Excel XML based Spreadsheet, a CSV (comma seperated values) data file or HTML Table. Using an uncluttered Windows interface, the user selects an ODBC database and table and then presses one button to fetch the entire contents into a ready to use excel (xml based) spreadsheet or other data file driven display. Users can save an extraction routine for future use.

The application also allows the user to modify the default SQL if desired, although no SQL knowledge is needed to use it. It can also be launched from within an application or with a batch file. In fact, it is possible to launch O2X from within your application and set it to extract and export ODBC table and then launch another application to automatically import the data. In other words, data transformation on a very low budget!

This version of O2X now allows users to export extracted data to an html file that can be used for web projects.
